Well, I'm glad that mess I behind us. Now two bad weeks for me personally and I'm glad we're headed to a place where I've had some good runs. Congrats to Ryan, it was obvious that either you, Shella, or Blade that were going to pick up the win. Now to the recap.
The race went fairly well for a while, until Brendan Burcroff got into TyMcWhirter and sent him around for the first caution. We then had a very long green flag run, at which time Drew Carroll dropped connection. This lasted until lap 80 when then race leader Chris Shella tangled with the lapped car of Ryan Nuss. Once things got back green, another 40 lap run was to follow.
That run was ended when Brandon Hastings got into the back of me into Turn 3 and turned me around, it wasn't anything big and everyone was cool afterwards. Unfortunately this would kick off a flurry of cautions and tempers, one of which ended the day for myself and Ty McWhirter.
Lap 157 kicked off the final long run of the race, which was ended when Brandon Hastings and Brendan Burcroff got together on lap 193. One final short run would shuffle Blade Whitt (who lead the majority of the second half of the race) out of the lead and hand it over to eventual winner Ryan Lowe. Then on lap 201, Whitt was spun by David Brownell which pulled the caution again and ended the race.
Again, I'm really glad that's over and happy that we're heading to someplace that I've historically done well at. Looking forward to the second half of the season and a turn-around from the past three weeks.
