The ARC Truck Series thunders into the quiet hills of New Hampshire to kick of the 2013 Summer Shootout Series Chase! This is a speedway that acts like a short track, so there's sure to be sparks flying, bump and runs, and tempers running high as the Chase competitors try to grab every point they can. Last season we saw four lead changes in the last 10 laps, including a wreck on the final restart, so it just goes to show that anything can (and will) happen in the closing laps of this race.

Week 4 is upon us. We have had a good start, some what, and it only seems to be getting better. The competition has been getting closer week in and week out. But now we are getting into the long haul of the schedule. Starting with one of the toughest tracks there is, Rockingham. Drew Carroll is holding down the points lead, for now, and TJ Thompson has been on a roll with a win in the HoF 90 and winning the ARC All Star Race. We had a ton of drivers show up for that, and hope to see more threw the season. At the History 100 (Rockingham) we are bound to have some incidents, but lets try to keep a level head and a clean race.

Notes: Last season we had a lot of opening race cautions, but a massive green flag run at the end, lets try for a green to checkers race this season. Plus, this race had the highest car count of the season with 18 cars taking the green flag.

    Well, another great season of ARC Truck Series action is in the books. Congrats to Blade Whitt on the championship. You were a great competitor all season and it was great to run with you. Also congratulations to Ben Nile, Ethan Lane, and Joe Pisciotta for grabbing your first ARC Truck Series wins this season, and to all the other season winners!

    I feel this season was a big step in the right direction. We made huge infrastructure and penalty system changes before the season, and I feel it will only continue to be better refined and keep working to make the league better and more fun for all drivers. 

    At this point I will disclose to all of you who haven't yet heard, I will be stepping down from an admin position in the league for the 2013B season. It is nothing against the league, and I will continue to run the races, but reality has come into play lately and I just don't have enough time in my life to fulfill all my jobs as an admin. I hope whoever is chosen to be the next admin only the best of luck, and hope to continue to see the league build and thrive. 

    With that I wish you all the best of luck, and I already can't wait to get back to racing with you all in the 2013B "Summer Shootout Series" ARC Truck Series Season!
